1.) So tell us a little about yourself, your project, organization, or company that you’ll be displaying at the maker faire
I am an artist and will be displaying some of my work at the faire, as well as working on a live painting demonstration during the faire. I focus mainly on painting abstract landscapes and portraiture, but have also dabbled in sculpture and traditional sketching.
2.) What got you into making or creating? Have you always been a tinkerer?
I feel that I’ve always been a creative individual, but not much of a maker during my youth. After a lengthy hospital stay a few years back, I got into painting as a form of recovery and have been creating art ever since.
3.) How did you get started on your current project? How long have you been working on your current project?
I started on my current project a few months back and have just started to put the finishing touches on it in time for the faire. I was inspired by some of the old Spanish masters and decided to work on a few pieces that took some of their more traditional artistic elements and extrapolate them in a much bolder sense.
4.) How can people find out more about your project, company, or organization?
I don’t have much of online presence or a studio of any sort, so the best way to find out more about my past, current, and future projects would be to stop by and visit my booth at the maker faire!
