Introducing SPROCKET!
Meet our 2015 mascot: Sprocket! He likes 3D printing, kimchi, and Skynet.
We held a contest on Facebook to name him, and the winner got a 3D-printed copy of Sprocket and a small pile of swag. (Like our Facebook page now for more giveaway opportunities and to keep up with the latest BR Mini Maker Faire news!)
Sprocket had an exciting weekend–he got to hang with Mayor Melvin “Kip” Holden and Miss USA 2014, Nia Sanchez, at the Main Library at Goodwood!
By the way, we are still accepting applications for Makers for our Faire on September 23. If you make something as a hobby or small business–for example, woodworking, DIY electronics, fiber arts (knitting, sewing, crocheting), sculptures, screen printing, print making, or musical instruments–answer the Call for Makers today!
