Cnc Router Project at br mini maker faire

We’re excited to welcome back CNC Router Projects – a station where you can make wood engravings. The designer Arthur Hebert works on a variety of hands-on activities around the Baton Rouge area. His regular desk job at the highway department job is cool, but he tells us that he needs an outlet to balance things out. Visitors at the 2018 Baton Rouge Mini Maker Faire made wood signs that displayed a few words of their choosing. Test your graphic capabilities, and tie in other woodworking skills into the experience.

Swing by and brainstorm ideas with Arthur this year’s Faire on Saturday, October 19th!

The East Baton Rouge Parish Library’s Innovation Space is now listed in Make’s global directory of Makerspaces!!!

Take one of our badging classes to learn how to use the 3D printer or A/V equipment, and you can start using Baton Rouge’s only maker space!

Call for Submissions to show your digital works at LSU’s Red Stick FutureFest.
The Making Expo will be happening on March 29th, 2019 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Digital Media Center on LSU’s campus!
We invite you to show your creative digital projects, video games, DIY experiments, Robotics, 3D printers, or other Maker Projects at the Red Stick Maker Expo.
