Hi Makers!

It’s almost here! The 2025 Baton Rouge Maker Faire is Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.!

Here’s some information to help you for the day of the Faire:

Setup for makers with booths is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Set your GPS for 7800 Independence Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA which will bring you to the BREC Independence Park Theatre parking lot.

This is our designated Maker Parking area. This will position you to come through the back of the Main Library through our loading dock.

Here, you can check in and receive flatbed hand trucks and push carts for unloading. If your booth location is in the front plaza area of the Main Library, you may also use the 7711 Goodwood Blvd entrance to the library and unload next to the plaza. We will have staff and carts in both locations. But please move your vehicle from the library parking lot once you unload! Please park in the designated Maker Parking area. We want to make sure we have enough parking for attendees!

At the check-in table, you’ll be directed to your booth’s location.

Plan on having your booth ready for visitors by 9:50 a.m.

There will be snacks and water throughout the day for makers. There will be food trucks at the Faire if you would like to purchase a meal.

Please keep our Library beautiful! If you would like to hang things on the wall, you must use a non-marking option such as blue painter’s tape or gaffing tape.

We are happy to assist you throughout the day! Look for the Maker Faire team in Orange Maker Faire shirts.

Library staff will also be available to help, along with volunteers from local school clubs who will be wearing their club-affiliated t-shirts.

The Maker Faire ends at 4 p.m. and the Library closes to the public at 6 p.m., so if someone is coming to assist you in packing up your booth, please ask them to arrive before 6 p.m. Hand trucks and push carts will again be available.

We would like to thank East Baton Rouge Parish Library and BREC for their support!

We look forward to seeing you Saturday, October 18th! If you have any questions, please contact Jordan Courtney at jcourtney@ebrpl.com.
